The John S. Latsis Public Benefit Foundation is looking for an active individual with project management skills to work as an intern in the field of Social Welfare and Community Development.

JOB DESCRIPTION

The duties and responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, the following:

  • Research for future actions and collaborations within the field of Social Welfare and Community Development.
  • Communication with partner organisations in order to enhance the effectiveness of their work.
  • Preparation of reports on the progress and impact of projects implemented with funding from the Foundation.
  • Preparation of written and oral presentations on current and future activities.
  • Participation in various activities and working groups as required by the Foundation.
  • Travel and field visits in order to contribute to the monitoring and evaluation of projects funded by Foundation, when required.

         

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's and/or Master's degree from a Greek or foreign Higher Education Institution or Technical Education Institution in the field of social sciences or in another field related to social welfare and community development.
  • Fluency in both Greek and English (written and spoken).
  • Excellent computer skills (indicatively, MS Office: Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint) and ease desk research.
  • Professional and/or volunteer experience in project management, particularly in the non-profit or social welfare sector.
