The Summer School was organised by the Technological Educational Institute of Lamia and took place July 4-15, at Pallas Athena building, at Kefalari, Athens. Co-organisers were the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and the Universities of Florence, Italy, and Extremadura, Spain. It was attended by 34 postgraduate students, PhD students and young scientists, who attended the lectures of 27 lecturers on agroforestry. Apart from the lectures, the program included also a two-day field trip to Ileia Prefecture.


Summer School’s objective was to bring together postgraduate and doctoral students, young scientists and lecturers and create a forum for the exchange of ideas, experience and practices concerning the implementation of agroforestry systems in different countries.
