“Tech Talent School for Educators” Programme | School Year 2023-2024

Aiming to contribute to a qualitative upgrade of the educational process and to effectively address the digital transformation gap, the John S. Latsis Public Benefit Foundation supported for the third consecutive year the “Tech Talent School for Educators” programme, a comprehensive initiative by Socialinnov NPO which aims at the digital training and mental empowerment of educators. The “Tech Talent School for Educators” focuses on the well-rounded development of educators and is implemented by Socialinnov instructors in collaboration with STEM education specialists and a network of professionals from the fields of HR, mental health, and environmental education.

The Programme is designed to enrich educators’ knowledge of new technologies and enhance their teaching methods through the effective use of today’s digital tools, enabling them to offer their students an engaging, modern, and experiential learning experience. In the framework of the Programme, educators had the opportunity to become familiar with new interactive and dynamic learning methodologies, as well as innovative and user-friendly tools for the design and presentation of educational materials. The participants also attended seminars on the enhancement of mental resilience and on professional empowerment, in order to be able to deal with potential signs of burnout in good time and to deliver on their educational duties more efficiently. Finally, participants were introduced to green skills and were properly prepared for the green economy, while particularly timely topics such as school bullying and cyberbullying were also addressed.

  • During the 2023-2024 school year, 16 training rounds were implemented, attended by 3,045 educators.
  • Educators from all over Greece, as well as from Cyprus, Germany, Austria and Sweden attended the Programme.
  • The educators participated in structured seminars in 4 pillars: Digital Skills, Professional Empowerment, Mental Resilience & Emotional Intelligence and Empowerment in the School Community.

“A well-organised series of seminars covering timely and important topics, taught by remarkable instructors who bring passion and dedication to their work!”

“The ‘Tech Talent School’ programme has proven to be a consistent source of value for the training and empowerment of teachers. I’ve already attended your new, enriched round!”
