Reading to Others, promoting equal opportunities for knowledge and learning for all, aims to enrich the audio library for blind people through the recording of books by volunteer readers, while it also carries out therapeutic reading activities in nursing homes and hospitals aiming to enhance the psychosocial empowerment of excluded persons in Greece.

As part of the ''Points of Support'' programme Multi-sensory workshops raising children’s awareness about blindness were conducted, in collaboration with the Social Cooperative Enterprise “Black Light”, in primary and secondary education schools in Athens, Chania and Heraklion of Crete. The goal of the workshops is the social inclusion of visually-impaired children into the school environment, as well as the provision of information about blindness. Through experiential learning and simulation methods, children realise the challenges that blind people face, there is reduction of phenomena of exclusion of people with vision loss and increased empathy from children regarding this form of disability.

A total of 460 students participated in the workshops in schools in Athens and Crete.
