Collaborating for Health

A programme aiming to meet urgent needs in the field of Public Health and strengthen the services of health providers in Greece.

The joint initiative of the John S. Latsis Public Benefit Foundation and the Non-profit Greek Shipowners’ Social Welfare Company ‘SYN-ENOSIS’  is addressed to public health service providers (Hospitals and Health Centers) as well as to non-profit private legal entities active in the field of Public Health in Greece and concerns the financing of small and medium-scale projects.

The aim is to meet needs of the public health sector and strengthen the services of the health providers in Greece. In the programme are being evaluated, jointly with SYN-ENOSIS, requests by healthcare providers from all over the country for a) procuring medical equipment and b) upgrading the infrastructure of public or other non-profit healthcare providers. 

In 2018 the first round of the "Collaborating for Health" programme was implemented, while in 2022, the implementation of the fourth round was completed. The public health providers and units selected to receive support in the framework of the 4 rounds of the Programme, as well as the respective donations that were put into action are available below:
