Announcement | 1st International Summer School

The names of the 30 postgraduate and doctoral students from Greece and abroad, who were selected to participate in the Latsis Foundation 1st International Summer School, were announced today. The Summer School is entitled "Environment: Climate – Climate Change – Impacts", it is funded exclusively by the John S. Latsis Public Benefit Foundation, and it will be held at the "Pallas Athena" building from 8 to 15 July 2009.

The applications were evaluated by the Summer School’s Organisation Committee (teaching staff of the Department of Meteorology and Climatology of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, in cooperation with researchers from the National Observatory of Athens).
