The John S. Latsis Public Benefit Foundation is announcing the results of the public call for the support of scientific societies and associations in the humanities and social sciences. The Foundation received a total of 243 proposals from institutions engaged in scientific work that falls under the humanities and social sciences and greenlighted funding for 8 of them.

Following the formal review process, the requests that fell within the program’s scope were forwarded to the members of an expert committee specifically appointed for this purpose, who reviewed the proposed projects in terms of their originality and multiplier effect, each applicant’s activities and contribution to the scientific domain, as well as the project’s overall quality and final deliverable.
