Announcement of Results | Postgraduate Scholarships Programme 2015-2016

The John S. Latsis Public Benefit Foundation announces that for the academic year 2015-2016 will offer 22 new scholarships for postgraduate studies (Master’s level) in Greece and abroad. 2 of the scholarships will be granted through the Neraida Floating Museum, as previously announced, in scientific fields relevant to maritime studies. These new scholarships are added to the 90 in total active scholarship recipients of all academic levels, currently supported by the Foundation that funds their studies.

The Foundation, following the open call of March 6th, 2015, received 691 valid applications from candidates of all scientific fields. The committee took into account all components of each application with special regard to:

  • Academic excellence
  • Educational development
  • The Level of the postgraduate programme and the future endeavours of each candidate
  • The social and financial situation of the candidates

The Foundation thanks everyone who applied for a scholarship and wishes them the best of luck to their goals and future endeavours.
