The Programme is a collaborative initiative of the John S. Latsis Public Benefit Foundation, the Bodossaki Foundation, the Captain Vassilis & Carmen Constantakopoulos Foundation, the A. G. Leventis Foundation, the A. C. Laskaridis Foundation, the Costas M. Lemos Foundation, The Hellenic Initiative Canada, and the Athina I. Martinou Foundation. Coordinated by the Bodossaki Foundation since 2022, the Programme has to date funded 224 projects and benefited more than 125,000 people across Greece.
The projects selected under the new round of the Programme will be implemented throughout Greece and respond to pressing social and environmental challenges, supporting children, people with disabilities, vulnerable social groups and local communities, while also contributing to environmental protection.
Among the selected initiatives are projects that promote Artificial Intelligence education for students and teachers in the island of Naxos and the Small Cyclades, enhance access to culture for people with disabilities across the Aegean islands, and establish a permanent solidarity mechanism to support vulnerable families in Karditsa. Through innovative approaches and close collaboration with local communities, the selected projects aspire to create lasting social and environmental impact.
The "Points of Support" Programme is addressed to small Civil Society Organisations in Greece, supporting them in the implementation of original small-scale projects with maximum social impact, while also strengthening their organisational capacity and fostering the development of skills that contribute to the sustainability of their work.
The selected projects were chosen following an Open Call for proposals and a thorough evaluation process.
