The John S. Latsis Public Benefit Foundation wishes to thank all participants of the public call for proposals for the 2011 ''Scientific Projects'' Programme, exclusively funded by the Foundation.

A total of 1030 proposals were submitted in the following scientific fields:

  • Social Sciences & Humanities: 412 proposals
  • Mathematics, physical sciences, information and communication, engineering, universe and earth sciences: 249 proposals
  • Life Sciences: 369 proposals

The Foundation’s Scientific Committee, taking into consideration the impressive number of proposals submitted, which indicates a warm interest of the scientific and research community for the Programme, and after evaluating the qualitative and other characteristics of all proposals, will announce the results on October 29th, 2010.
