Prix Latsis Universitaires Ceremony 2013

On November 19, 2013, the Prix Latsis Universitaires were presented to Fokko Pieter Beekhof from Université de Genève, Nicolai Cramer from Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne, Tanja Stadler from Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Zurich and Michael Bechtel from Université de St-Gallen.
Guest of honor was Arianna Huffington, president and editor in chief of The Huffington Post, who gave a lecture entitled "The Brave New World of the 'New Media'".

The Latsis Prizes are awarded each year since 1983 to 4 researchers under 40 years of age and are accompanied by 25.000 Swiss francs each. They are presented as recognition of the laureate’s scientific contribution and as encouragement for their future progress.
