Coverage of operational costs and provision of infrastructure

The Greek Food Bank - Foundation to Fight Hunger is a non-governmental and non-profit organisation founded in 1995, with the purpose of decreasing wastefulness. To that end, the Foundation supplies the collaborating organisations in need with products coming from the industries and which, even though suitable for consumption, are not marketable (due to the close expiration date or an error in packaging). The Food Bank receives these products and distributes them to foundations with limited income and to soup kitchens.

The John S. Latsis Public Benefit Foundation continues its collaboration with the Greek Food Bank, covering operational costs and providing the necessary infrastructure.
