THE RECTOR OF THE UNIVERSITY OF IOANNINA

 

Taking into consideration the Decision of the Rector’s Council No. 1179/31-5-2011,

we hereby decide

to award six (6) undergraduate prizes and six (6) postgraduate prizes by the Foundation for the Rehabilitation of Albanians of Greek Descent (IAOA) for the 2010-2011 academic year to the following candidates:

 

A. FOR UNDERGRADUATE STUDIES (6 PRIZES)

a. From the School of Sciences

1. Aristides Mastoras, son of Manolis, 4th-year student at the Department of Computer Science.

b. From the Faculty of Medicine

1. Anastasis Gogos, son of Dimitris, 2nd-year student.

c. From the School of Education

1. Aphrodite Dede, daughter of Giorgos, 2nd-year student at the Department of Early Childhood Education.

d. From the Department of Economics

1. Frosyno Gika, daughter of Konstantinos, 2nd-year student.

2. Nikoleta Kazaki, daughter of Stefanos, 2nd-year student.

e. From the Department of Fine Arts and Art Sciences

1. Antonia Rantou, daughter of Kostas, 4th-year student.

 

B. FOR POSTGRADUATE STUDIES (6 PRIZES)

(a) For a Master’s Degree (4 prizes)

a. From the School of Sciences

1. Elinta Soukallari, daughter of Charalambos, 2nd-year postgraduate student at the Department of Computer Science.

b. From the School of Education

1. Dimitroula Karantza, daughter of Theofilos, 2nd-year postgraduate student at the Department of Primary Education.

c. From the Department of Economics

1. Aphrodite Geliou, daughter of Evangelos, 2nd-year postgraduate student.

d. From the Department of Fine Arts and Art Sciences

1. Alma Bakiai, daughter of Manol, 2nd-year postgraduate student.

 

(b) For a PhD (2 prizes)

a. From the School of Sciences

1. Christakis Soutzios, son of Ilias, 4th-year PhD candidate at the Department of Physics.

b. From the Faculty of Medicine

1. Leonidas Roumbatis, son of Efthymios, 3rd-year PhD candidate.
