The impact of climate change, the extreme weather conditions and the use of new databases to study climate changes were the main subjects presented by distinguished professors from Greece and other countries to 30 post-graduate students and doctoral candidates from 14 countries, as part of the 1st International Summer School “Climate-Climate Change- Impact”  organised by the Department of Meteorology and Climatology, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki - Institute for Environmental Research and Sustainable Development (IERSD), National Observatory of Athens. The Summer School’s works were hosted from July 8th until July 15th 2009 at the Foundation’s premises in “Pallas Athina” building.
