National Latsis Prize Ceremony 2014

The award will be presented to Tobias Kippenberg, in recognition of his contribution to the field of quantum optomechanics. Tobias Kippenberg is a Professor at the Laboratory of Photonics and
Quantum Measurements, École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL). The award will be presented at a ceremony that will take place on January 14th, 2015, at Bern, Switzerland.

The prize, a sum of 100,000 Swiss francs,  is presented annually by the Swiss National Science Foundation, based in Bern, on behalf of the Fondation Latsis Internationale, based in Geneva, to researchers of up to 40 years of age in recognition of their special contribution to science in Switzerland.
