The Volunteerism & NGO Capacity Building issue area focuses the promotion of volunteerism, particularly within the 16-25 age bracket, the improvement of volunteer-NGO relations while maximising benefit for both stakeholders as well as the research into local perspectives on volunteerism & effective means of engagement.
The Foundation is interested in organisations that provide progression routes for young people who are under-represented in decision-making. We support organisations that help nurture young leaders, foster community cohesion and challenge dysfunctional systems. We are looking for work that inspires leadership, integrates innovation and fresh approaches to campaigning, fundraising and impact metrics. Past initiatives have included training programmes, social mobility outreach, social entrepreneurship seed capital or core capacity building support for NGOs or volunteer associations.
