The Centre for Life
Centre for Life is a non-governmental, non-profit organisation established in 1991 with an aim to support people living with HIV/AIDS in Greece, as well as their families, by providing social services and legal and psychological support. Moreover, through a series of actions including implementation of targeted projects, education lectures and training activities, as well as through synergies with competent Greek agencies and the respective international organisations, the organisation provides specific information in order to inform on prevention and raise awareness among the general population. Within the framework of its support work, Centre for Life has been operating since 1995 the Drop-in Centre, a meeting place for emotional support, information and entertainment for seropositive people and their close ones.
