Reinforcement of healthcare programmes
Mission “ANTHROPOS”
2015
Mission “ANTHROPOS” is a non-profit and non-governmental organisation, committed to offering treatment and medical support to people or populations in need worldwide. To this end, the organisation operates programmes and voluntary medical missions, in order to provide free medical care, knowledge and experience, as well as training for medical and paramedical staff. The activity of Mission “ANTHROPOS” in Greece consists of two programmes, the “Emvolia-zoume: Children without insurance, not without protection” and the “Stiri-zoume: Medical and Pharmaceutical care for all” programmes, which aim to secure that uninsured children receive all the vaccinations necessary and to offer medical and pharmaceutical help to financially challenged people deprived of healthcare coverage.
The John S. Latsis Public Benefit Foundation funds core operational expenses of the Mission “ANTHROPOS” in order to allow for the implementation of their programmes.
