Our programs are open-call operated, criteria-dependent, measurable, scalable programs processed by Foundation staff frequently in conjunction with other advisors, co-funders and/or partners, and they are intended to solve social/NGO challenges at scale, provide a more solid comparable framework for issue area grant-making, facilitate intra and inter-foundation learning and be tailored to particular funding needs.
Programs also have important symbolic value, being responsive to contemporary societal concerns, they are an impetus to discuss, analyze and fund pressing needs that emerge from local communities.

"It Is Our Duty" Social Solidarity Programme The devastating fires that affected much of the country in August 2007 led the Foundation in the design and implementation of the program "It is our duty", the main axes of which was on the one hand the restoration of fire-stricken areas and on the other hand the prevention of similar situations in the future. The programme was developed over four years and included a series of actions in support of fire stricken people, reconstruction and redevelopment of areas affected by the fires, environmental awareness and forest protection.
