Housing Security

The generation of new job positions to improve long-term housing security prospects, the enhancement of programs for the extra-vulnerable homeless population and the development of community-integrated, multi-purpose housing facilities is the main focus of the Housing Security issue area.

The Foundation supports organisations based in economically marginalised or isolated communities, that work with particular groups of excluded or vulnerable people. We aim to raise awareness about issues facing the homeless community as well as effective, tested solutions than can be piloted or scaled-up either in relation to employment, transitional housing, social housing or harm reduction for the chronically homeless. Moreover, the foundation actively participates in FEANTSA (European Federation of National Organisations Working with the Homeless) participating in the exchange of local and international know-how and good practice development.
