2016
For the eighth consecutive year, the Foundation continued its support for the Summer School of the Laboratory of Cognitive and Experimental Economics at the Economics and Management Department of the University of Trento, Italy. Entitled “Macreconomic Coordination and Externalities”, the programme was held between June 20th and July 1st 2016 and was addressed to doctoral, post-doctoral and other young researchers in the areas of macroeconomics and finance. As is the case every year, the Foundation had secured two seats for Greek researchers.
The lectures’ topics focused on extremely pertinent issues related to macroeconomic systems in conditions of deep recession and debt crisis and the participants had the opportunity to attend classes by top scholars from all over the world, amongst which the Nobel Laureate economist Joseph E.
