Manfred Lachs Space Law Moot Court Competition 2013

The European round of the Manfred Lachs Space Law Moot Court Competition is held each year by the International Institute of Space Law (IISL), in collaboration with the European Center for Space Law (ECSL). 

For second consecutive year, the John S. Latsis Public Benefit Foundation supports the Greek team, comprised of three students and two coaches. The team managed to reach fourth place among 13 participants, having competed at the semi-final with the competition finalists of the University of Leiden (the Netherlands). This year's competition took place at the La Sapienza University, Rome, from 9 to 12 May.


Interesting facts

The World Final of the Manfred Lachs Competition is being judged by three sitting members of the International Court of Justice, the main judicial organ of the UN.
