Cognitive and Experimental Economics Laboratory (CEEL), Department of Economics and Management, University of Trento
The International Summer School at the University of Trento is simultaneously a school, teaching contemporary theories and methods, and a workshop, wherein participants, both faculty and students, develop research and ideas.
The 13th Summer School entitled "Intensive Course in Market Design: Theory and Pragmatics" was held from 25 June to 6 July 2012 at Trento Hotel Villa Madruzzzo. Market design is studied as a multi-disciplinary problem with relevant expertise coming from economic theory, computer science, and operations research, on the basis of the right combination of theory and pragmatics. Co-directors of the 2012 Summer School are Dan Friedman (Santa Cruz University CA) and David Parkes (Harvard University).
