Scholarships for the Center for Talented Youth At Anatolia College
The Center for Talented Youth – CTY at Anatolia College first came in Greece in 2013. It is the educational programme of the Johns Hopkins University which was launched in 1979 aiming to reinforce academic excellence by locating charismatic and talented students from all over the world supporting their development. Through the programme students (from Second Grade of Primary School to First Grade of High School) from all over Greece are invited to discover their academic capabilities and satisfy their curiosity through an exciting and fun three- week learning adventure. CTY identifies academically talented children through specially designed examinations and invites them in the Anatolia College premises to develop their talents through courses that have been tested over time, are adapted to their needs, challenge them and enrich their knowledge beyond the barriers of the school programme.
The John S. Latsis Public Benefit Foundation granted 6 scholarships for children that have been invited to participate to the programme but their families are not able to cover the cost.
A video presenting the programme:
185 children from all over Greece participated in the 2015 summer campus, twice as many compared to last year.
The children were selected among more than 3.000 Primary and Secondary Education pupils following examinations that were conducted in 14 Greek cities during the past two years.
