Prix Latsis universitaires 2011
The prizes were awarded to Dr Emmanuel Abbé from Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne, Dr Dominic Eggel from Université de Genève, to Prof. Paola Picotti στο from Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Zurich and to Prof. Conny Wunsch from Université de St-Gall.
Guest of honor was Prof. Francis Fukuyama, philosopher, economist and political scientist, who gave a lecture entitled “European Identity/ies”.
The Latsis Prizes are awarded each year since 1983 to 4 researchers under 40 years of age and are accompanied by 25.000 Swiss francs each. They are presented as recognition of the laureate’s scientific contribution and as encouragement for their future progress.
