Latsio Elementary School

The Latsio School of the Psychico College at Kantza, Attica, was inaugurated on 11 October 1995, by the President of the John S. Latsis Public Benefit Foundation, Mrs. Henrietta Latsis and constitutes a significant contribution by the John S. Latsis family to Greek education.

The Latsio School is built on a 180,000 m2 area. The school building (extending over 10,000 m2) and the associated technical and educational facilities include, inter alia, the following: 
 

  • 26 classrooms
  • 11 foreign language laboratories 
  • 2 computer rooms 
  • 2 music rooms
  • 2 chemistry & physics laboratories 
  • 3 art studios
  • a library with 9,000 volumes 
  • a 500-seat theatre
  • a projection theatre
  • a large covered atrium used for class breaks during the winter school period 
  • a dining room 
  • a nurse΄s office
