Latsio Burn Centre
The Latsio Burn Centre, donated to the Greek state on 2 February 2005, aims to improve and enhance the scope of the Greek health services sector. This burn centre, the only one of its kind in southern Europe, is equipped to provide state-of-the-art care for serious burn victims.
The Latsio Burn Centre contains the following:
- over 7,000 m2 of indoor spaces
- 2 cutting-edge technology operating rooms
- a burn patients admission area with an independent septic operating room
- 8 completely independent intensive care units
- 18 intensive care beds
- 8 regular care beds
- outpatient clinics
- a physiotherapy room
- a 115-seat lecture hall capable of providing a direct real-time video link with the operating rooms for educational purposes
- 5 parking spaces with a fully landscaped 2,000 m2 surrounding area
- high-quality medical equipment, selected to meet the Centre's operational needs
